Description

12,7-мм КРУПНОКАЛИБЕРНЫЙ ПУЛЕМЕТ СИСТЕМЫ ДЕГТЯРЕВА-ШПАГИНА обр. 1938 г. ДШК. Принадлежал Герою Советского Союза старшине М. И. Козомазову. 8 августа 1944 г. в бою в районе станции Аувере Эстонской ССР командир зенитно-пулеметного взвода старшина М. И. Козомазов заменил в бою погибшего командира зенитно-пулеметной роты. 8 контратак противника отразила огнем рота под его командованием. Лично, огнем из пулемета и гранатами, М. И. Козомазов подбил две танкетки и в рукопашной схватке уничтожил двух гитлеровцев. Несмотря на полученное тяжелое ранение, продолжал руководить боем до подхода подкрепления. Важный рубеж был удержан.

Военно-исторический музей артиллерии, инженерных войск и войск связи, Санкт-Петербруг.
